Mariah Carey returned to the Stage last nite for the first time since 2010.

She wore an elegant black gown, which stunned the crowd in her hip-hugging ensemble, showing off her newly regained figure! The Gotham Hall extravaganza was part of Caesar Entertainment's "Escape To Total Rewards" kick-off event host be Spice Girl Mel B.

Katie Price Album?

So according to Twitter Katie Price/Jordan is recording an album!!

She tweeted "I'm recording my 1st single 4 my forth coming album with Dane Bowers & David Anthony the producers x"

Nothing is confirmed, so its unknown if its a joke.

Katie has already recorded an album with ex husband Peter Andre & competed for Eurovision entry.

Tríona O'Callaghan

Tríona O'Callaghan is a friend of mine, I met her a few years back when she lived in Carrick on Suir.

She lives back in her native New York now and is a budding Musical Theatre actress.

She has a fabulous voice and I guarantee we will see her soon on the Broadway Stage.

Best news Ever!!

Have just found out that classic episodes of CH4 Soap BROOKSIDE are now available online.

From the very first episode to the very last episode and some in between, are all on 4OD.

Brookside ran from 1982 until 2003 and was one of my favourite Soaps ever!!!

I miss it wicked and am going to love watching the classic episodes again.

Singer PINK has just tweeted a picture (above) of what looks like new hair with the tag
"Back to basics :)"

She followed this by another tweet saying
 "Okay the hair is the palest pink.... You know what that means!!!!!!!!!! NEW RECORD TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!"

So looks  like PINK is headed back into the studio to follow up 2008's "Funhouse"

Celine Dion Cancels All Shows Until June?

Ok so yesterday it was reported that Celine Dion had to cancel a few shows at her Las Vegas run in March.

Today thought it has been confirmed that has cancelled ALL shows until June!

She has been diagnosed with weakness in her right vocal cord, secondary to a viral illness.

She has been prescribed six to eight weeks to recover fully.

Monkees Star Dead

The lead singer of The Monkees, Davy Jones, has died.

He died after suffering a heart attack this morning in Florida. Jones was 66.

Jones is survived by his wife Jessica and four daughters from previous marriages.

Jones joined The Monkees in 1965, with Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork.

Beyonce a One Hit Wonder??

We already know that Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow are close friends, but now they will be spending even more time together - because they are both starring in a new movie!

SONY Pictures and Ryan Murphy are working on a musical comedy called One Hit Wonders, which will include Paltrow, Beyonce, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and comedian Adam Sandberg. 

Paltrow will also help Murphy produce One Hit Wonders, which will be the first time Paltrow has produced a project.

Paltrow, Witherspoon and Diaz will play three performers who were all 'one hit wonders.' The trio plans to create a super group.

Cant wait to see Beyonce and Gwyneth in the same movie and especially the soundtrack!

Never Forget?

Everyone knows that I love Musicals, good ones, bad ones and all in between.

Never Forget is a musical based on the songs by british group "Take That".

It was produced just before Take That got back together and has absolutley nothing to do with the band themselves, as all the songs were licensed by EMI.

It centred around a Take That tribute band being put together in order to win a large amount of money to secure a pub from closing down.

It got mixed reviews and had a very short run.

I was lucky enough to the DVD as it was filmed for release.

Marie Serneholt V Same Difference

Marie Serneholt is Swedish singer and former member of the Swedish pop band A*Teens.

She recorded "I Need A House" for her Debut album back in 2006, it was her second single but didnt chart that well.

1 year later and UK Duo Same Difference record it for debut album, thought it was never released as a single in the UK.

Personally it was one of my favourite tracks from that album, and is a perfect little POP song!!

Darius is Back

Remember Darius Danesh from Pop Idol back in 2001?

Well hes hoping to become a star across the waters in the USA.

Today he is knows as Darius Campbell and he has been chosen as the lead actor in a pilot for ABC in a remake of the classic story BEAUTY & THE BEAST

He will play a bodyguard and mysterious creature who discovers an unlikely connection with a princess named Grace, who has yet to be cast.

Six V Same Difference

Flop Irish reality tv band SIX released Let me be the One as their second single in Ireland back in 2001 before going their seperate ways.

6 Years later it appeared on the Debut album from Same Difference, another reality tv act.

To be honest I could post at least another 5  from Same Difference as their debut album was made of nearly all covers!

Well, I was shocked to Discover yesterday that one of their songs has now been covered, and do people even know??

The track is LOVE U MORE and This is the version of the song recorded for their first album Step One back in 1998.

And here is new Singer/Song writer SUNDAY GIRL and her cover of the STEPS song.

It was released in December in the UK but ive never heard of it and I dont know if it even charted.

Great effort, but clearly you cant beat STEPS!

K25

So as we all know Kylie celebrates her 25th year in the music business this year and shes releasing a new Greatest Hits package with reworked version of some of her biggest hits!

As a treat for fans shes releasing previews and surprises throughout the year and this was the second K25 treat the other day.

On a night like this is one of my fave Kylie tracks, and this version just makes me fall in love with the song all over again!

I cant wait to see what else she has for us in the year of K25!

Shes had her ups and downs and to be honest her last 2 albums werent that good, in fact quite they were very bad lol

Ivana Spagna or just Spagna is a Singer/Songwriter from Italy.
She wrote songs for dance projects until 1986 when she decided to have a go herself.
It was her 3rd Single "Call Me" that got her noticed when it went to No.2 in the UK charts.
Its now her most famous song, which she recorded a slow version with a piano in 2004, and a dance version in 2010.
She recorded a version of  Elton Johns The Cirlce Of Life for the Italian version of The Lion King soundtrack which went to No.3 in the Italian charts.
She has had 17 albums, with her latest "FOUR" being released just last month.
Her album and single sales have been more than 10,000,000.

Not much is known about her personal life, although she has had a lot of cosmetic surgery, and now looks like a cross between Cher and Pete Burns.

Tonight i went to see the Comedy Musical GIRLS NIGHT.

Lorraine Keane, Sorcha Furlong & Hilda Fay were among the women who laughed, cried, sang and danced their way though the 2 hour show.

Girl Gone Wild

Ok so the 2nd (rushed and renamed) single from Madonnas upcoming album MDNA.

Well its certainly gettin people divided on their opinions as usual..

Personally I love Confessions of a Dancefloor and to me this sounds like a sequel!

So for me this is BRILLIANT!!!

After 1 listen i had the chorus in my head, and thats not something you can do with alot of songs!!

SMASH started just 2 weeks ago in America, im not sure when its coming over here, but thanks to the joys of online streaming I got to watch the first 3 episodes!!

Its about 2 of my all time favourite things.

MARILYN MONROE + MUSICALS = SMASH

It Stars Angelica Huston and Debra Messing along with American Idol runner up Katharine McPhee and is directed by Steven Spielberg!

Clearly its getting compared to GLEE, but the difference is SMASH is not just doing cover versions, its full of original songs that make up Marilyn The Musical.

Everybody should see this! Heres my favourite song from it!!
